What learners see in an assigned course
A learner sees the published course version granted by public enrollment, an invite, a direct assignment, or a learning path. Draft authoring controls and unpublished changes are not part of the learner course.
The course experience can include an outline, lessons, inline knowledge checks, module quizzes, a final assignment, progress, and a completion certificate, depending on course settings and generated content.
Open the learner dashboard
After signing in and receiving access, the learner opens their dashboard and selects the course from Continue Learning or the available course list.
Start or continue the course
The course opens to its outline and current lesson. The learner selects Start lesson or continues from their saved position.
Move through lessons
The learner reads each unit, follows the outline, and marks required work complete. Open courses allow free navigation; Guided and Mastery courses can keep later content locked.
Complete assessments
When enabled and generated, the learner answers inline knowledge checks, Module Quiz questions, and Course Assignment questions with Check answer and the configured retry behavior.
Review completion proof
Progress updates as work is completed. If Certification is enabled and the learner meets its rule, the course can show a certificate with View certificate and Download PDF when available.
Access and content vary
Learners see only the active published version and features enabled for that course or learning profile.
Company-document references appear only when the course's source-display setting allows them; workspace management, Course Assistant, and author edit actions remain hidden.
