File is stuck processing
Processing moves through Extracting, Organizing, Validating, Summarizing, Building blueprint, Generating course, and Preparing editor.
The page reads persisted job state, so refreshing does not restart the job. Retry processing or Retry generation appears only after the job reaches Failed.
Read the current stage
Note the stage name, document name, and job URL or ID. Plan ready for review is waiting for your decision and is not stuck.
Refresh once
Reload the page or reopen the processing course from Workspace. Do not upload duplicate copies while the same job remains active.
Allow the job to settle
Large or complex sources can take longer. If the stage remains unchanged for about 30 minutes, treat it as stuck and report it.
Retry after Failed
Select Retry processing or Retry generation when the failed-state action appears.
Report the issue
Select Report issue on the failure panel, or contact support with the job ID, stage, file type and size, start time, and displayed reference or error.
Expected result
The job advances, reaches a retryable Failed state, or reaches support with enough identifiers for recovery.
Timing and retry limits
Thirty minutes is the internal stale-recovery threshold, not a guaranteed service level. Cancelled jobs must be cloned or uploaded again, and jobs awaiting plan approval cannot be retried as stale.
