Supported file types and limits

LoreGraph accepts PDF (.pdf), Word (.doc and .docx), PowerPoint (.pptx), plain text (.txt), Markdown (.md), and transcript files (.vtt, .srt, and .sbv).

PDF, Word, and PowerPoint files can be up to 100 MB. Text, Markdown, and transcript formats (.txt, .md, .vtt, .srt, and .sbv) are limited to 25 MB.

  1. Open the uploader

    From Create New Course, select Upload File….

  2. Choose a supported file

    Select one file with a supported extension. Legacy PowerPoint .ppt files are not accepted; save or export them as .pptx first.

  3. Check the attachment

    Confirm that the file appears in the Course Assistant, then select Create course when you are ready.

Guest course limits

Visitors can upload the same source types as a registered account: PDF, Word, PowerPoint, and transcript or text files. Visitor files are limited to 30 MB, and visitor courses are limited to 30 pages.

Plan and storage limits

A supported file can still be rejected if it exceeds the size limit or the workspace has reached its course or storage allowance.
