Preview assessments as a learner

Learner Preview lets course managers test generated questions with the same controls a learner uses. Use it before publishing after any answer, explanation, or policy change.

Preview activity uses temporary session progress. It does not enroll the manager as a learner or add results to the course roster and analytics.

  1. Open Learner Preview

    Open the course and select Learner Preview in the course navigation.

  2. Open an assessment

    Use the outline to open a unit with an inline knowledge check, a Module Quiz, or Course Assignment.

  3. Submit a response

    Select one response for single-choice or true/false questions, or every intended response for multiple-choice questions, then choose Check answer.

  4. Verify feedback and retry behavior

    Confirm the correct result, answer reveal, explanation, score, and Try again behavior match the course's current policies.

  5. Test progression

    For Guided or Mastery courses, complete the preview steps needed to confirm later lessons and assessments unlock correctly.

Preview is temporary

Preview progress is kept for the preview session and is separate from production learner progress.

A successful preview does not publish the course or its assessments.
