Learner Experience

Summary

Learners see assigned courses, course progress, quiz status, completion status, and results based on their access.

Who this is for

  • Learners
  • Workspace admins previewing learner training

Before you start

  • A learner needs an account or invitation path.
  • A course must be published or otherwise accessible to the learner.
  • The learner must be assigned or have the correct access link depending on course settings.

Concepts

Learners can see assigned courses, progress, quiz attempts, and completion status.

Typical progress states are Not started, In progress, Completed, Passed, Failed, and Needs retry.

A learner course flow usually includes opening a course, reading lessons, completing activities, taking a quiz, and viewing a result.

Completion certificates are controlled by course settings where supported.

Steps

  1. Open the assigned course from the learner dashboard or invite link.
  2. Read lessons in order.
  3. Complete activities or knowledge checks if present.
  4. Start the quiz when ready.
  5. Answer questions and submit.
  6. Review score and feedback.
  7. Retake if allowed and needed.

Common mistakes

  • Sending learners to a draft course.
  • Assigning a course before the invite flow is ready.
  • Using unclear titles that make learners unsure which course to take.
  • Assuming failed quiz attempts mean the course content is fine.
