Course Lifecycle

Summary

LoreGraph courses move through a review lifecycle from draft content to learner completion.

Who this is for

  • Workspace admins
  • Course creators

Before you start

  • You need a workspace and at least one course draft.
  • Know who will review the course before publishing.
  • Know which learners or teams should receive the course.

Concepts

The recommended lifecycle is Draft -> Generated -> Reviewed -> Published -> Assigned -> Completed.

Draft means admins and creators are still preparing the course.

Generated means AI has created a structure, lessons, or quiz content that needs review.

Reviewed means a human has checked accuracy, completeness, tone, and learner readiness.

Published and assigned courses are available to the intended learner audience.

Steps

  1. Create a draft course from a document.
  2. Generate the outline, lessons, and quiz drafts.
  3. Review and edit the generated content.
  4. Preview the learner experience.
  5. Publish the course when it is ready.
  6. Assign it to learners or teams.
  7. Track completion and quiz outcomes.

Settings reference

SettingWhat it doesRecommended default
DraftKeeps the course out of learner access.Use for internal review.
GeneratedMarks AI content as created but not fully approved.Review before publish.
PublishedMakes the course available according to access settings.Use after preview and quality checks.

Example

A compliance policy course stays in Draft while legal reviews the lessons and quiz. After edits, the admin publishes it and assigns it to employees with a due date.

Common mistakes

  • Treating Generated as Reviewed.
  • Publishing before quiz answers are checked.
  • Assigning learners before access settings are confirmed.
  • Not revisiting content after the source policy changes.
